Alex Keith is a PhD candidate in the Department of History. Alex's research focuses on Black women's political activism in the 20th-century United States and United Kingdom. She is interested in how Black artists create and circulate performance art to challenge colonialism, and racial and gendered discrimination. Alex earned her B.A. in History and African and African American Studies at Dartmouth College.
